Lenox Campbell Stevens, Jr, 84, passed away on June 14 2012, in Tampa, Florida. He was born September 19, 1927 in Portsmouth New Hampshire, the son of Lenox and Olivia (Owen) Stevens.
Lenox was a Korean War Veteran, he graduated from UNH, and studied at Yale University, he become a high school biology teacher and basketball coach.Later he became an officer in the New York Power Squadron.Lenox was a Real Estate agent in Tampa, Florida. He loved to travel and ballroom dance, besides travel and dancing, Len was also a big fan of college basketball. Beloved father of, Sheila (Stevens) and her husband Jerry of San Leandro CA, Lenox Stevens III of Tampa Florida, John "Stew" Stevens of Berlin New Hampshire, Dana Stevens of St Petersburg Florida,and Althea (Stevens) Davis of Tampa Florida; numerous grandchildren, and his sister Barbara Lenox (Stevens) and her husband Guy Winch of South Hero, Vermont and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Stuart Owen "Steve" Stevens. Memorial services will be held July 28th at 1:00 PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N Florida Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33612. The family will receive friends one hour prior toservices.
