Lillian Kreitsch, age 101, passed away peacefully May 30, 2020 at Hospice House in Tampa, FL. She was born during the Spanish Flu Pandemic on May 2, 1919. In 1940, she married her one and only lifetime love, Erwin Kreitsch who proceeded her in death in 1985.

Lillian devoted herself to her family and her faith. She served for many years in Sunday School and Women's Ministry at St James United Church of Christ in Dearborn Michigan. She faced many hardships and the loss of mobility in her later years with grace and a gentle spirit. She lived out her favorite Bible verse, Proverbs 3:5 - " Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding."

Lillian is survived by her younger sister, Delores Totten of Encinitas CA and her daughter and son-in-law, Millie and Frank Conway of Land O Lakes, FL and grandchildren; William Haskins, Jason Haskins, Robert Haskins, Wendy Elis, Rebecca Justice, Heidi Conway, plus step grandchildren Joy Coffman, Kirsten Finley, and Monica Houx. She had thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews. She loved her family deeply and treasured time spent with them or calls they made to her. She touched their lives with her unconditional love, concern and interest in all they did. She is know for her big and bright smile and all who knew her will miss that beautiful smile.

A celebration of Lillian's life will be held at Idlewild Bapitst Church in Lutz, FL on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation of Florida. She will be interred later this summer in Cadillac Memorial Gardens of Westland MI, next to her husband.
