Obituary

Lloyd W. "Bill," Tracy, 75, of Tampa, passed away June 6, 2007. He served four years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. Mr. Lloyd served 18 years in the U.S. Air Force and distinguished himself by meritorious service as a management analyst, Air Force Advisory Group. He published the Vietnamese Air Force Status Review. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal and retired as a master sergeant. He is survived by his sons, Patrick Tracy and Stephen Tracy, both of Denver, Colo.; daughter, Christina Harper of Seattle, Wash.; brothers, Jim and Jack; sister, Margie; six grand-children; one great-grandson; and his very close dear friend, Betty O' Hearn. A funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at New Tampa Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Full military honors will be presented by MacDill Air Force Base chaplain and honor guard at 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 15, at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
