Lois Marie Gerhart, 82, Ocala, FL. went to be with the Lord on Sun., Sept. 12, 2010 under the loving care of family and Marion County Hospice. Lois was a native of Murphy, NC, and resided in Tampa and Columbus, GA prior to moving to Ocala in 2003. Lois is the daughter of the late William Chester and Annie Mae Ritch, and is preceded in death by her brothers, J.C. Ritch (Dot), Brewster, OH, and Alvin Ritch (Winnie), Gastonia, NC. Lois was a long time member of El Bethel Baptist Church and retired from Montgomery Ward. She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Ann Hamner, Ocala, and Dianne Davis (Richard), Middleburg, FL; brother, Jack Ritch, Kings Mountain, NC; sisters, Carolyn Dawson (Bud), Portsmouth, OH, and Margaret Angell (Art), Midland, GA; and five grandchildren, Erika Leak, Natalie Amato, Cari Behr, Brian and Stefani Davis; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral will take place at 11:00 a.m.., Friday, Sept. 17th at El Bethel Baptist Church, Tampa. Burial to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the funeral home.
