Mr. Louis Piniella, 86, a lifelong resident of Tampa passed away February 27, 2005. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Piniella; sons, Lou Piniella & his wife Anita and Joe Piniella; sister, Rose Torres; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews & two brothers-in-law & wives. A private service was held Tuesday at Centro Espanol Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers were Lou Sr., Joe, Lou Jr., Derek, Gabriel & Anthony; Honorary pallbearers were Joe, Mack, Macky, Joseph & David Magadan, Gil, Sindo, Fano, Mike, & Dr. Xavier Cannella. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to MacDonald Training Center, 5420 W. Cypress St., Tampa, FL 33607.
