LT Col. Dean R. Haeusler, (Ret. USAF) 76, died March 28th at Gulfside Regional Hospice Center in Hudson. Born in Minnesota, he was the son of C. Ruth and Harry M. Haeusler. Survived by his wife, M. Louise Haeusler; three children from a previous marriage; Lori, Stephen from the Panhandle of FL, and Greg from Hattiesburg, MS. He has several step children; Grandchildren are Rachel, Arica, Austin, Camille and Cody; a brother, Ken from TN; and a sister, Helen from MN. He graduated from Chelmsford High School in Mass., attended University of Mass and Troy College. Following his flight training in the U.S. Air Force, he served our country as a fighter pilot from '55-'75 including tours in Keflavik, Iceland and Ben Hoa, Viet Nam. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday, April 7th at St. Clement's Episcopal Church, 706 W. 113th Ave; Tampa.Celebrant will be The Rev. Andrew Heyes. Interment of the urn will follow in the Church's Memorial Garden. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
