M. Gwen Ethridge, of Tampa, 88, passed away November 11, 2018 after a long illness with Alzheimer's. She was born in Cuba Landing, Tennessee and was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Gene. They had two daughters, Mary Menendez (Phil) and Margaret Cardoso (Bobby); six grandchildren, Christian Garcia (Kenny), Marcy Plunkett (Robert), Robert Jr (Michelle), Ryan Menendez (Diana), Christopher Antinori (Simone) and Kira Barnes (Ricky);10 great grandchildren, Garett, Margaret Ann, Sarah, Karsyn, Aidan, Kyndall, Kabott, Ryan Jr, Adrian and Zoe. She retired from Honeywell. Her greatest love was for children. She worked at the children's church and was a greeter at the Town 'N Country Church of the Nazarene where her late brother was pastor and now her nephew is pastor. She will be greatly missed as mother, grandmother, nana and friend.
The family extends a sincere thank you and appreciation to Karen and Manuel and all the girls at the Austin House for their loving care and kindness to Gwen Ethridge.
