Madelyn Kay Trani, 74, born February 22, 1942 in Dawson, New Mexico to the union of Dominic and Clara Trani has passed away November 14, 2016 in Tampa, Florida. Madelyn grew up in Pueblo from 1945, and was a close childhood friend to the Marcon family.In July 1962, she married Alfred Forman of New York at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and subsequently moved from Pueblo to settle on the East Coast. Madelyn was a gifted and talented woman and she reached the hearts of thousands through her life, both children and adults.Madelyn was a natural teacher, generous with knowledge and time.She taught so many the joy of taking care, whether it was how to value a good friend, how to decorate and appreciate form and design, or how to observe the beautiful mystery in nature.Madelyn will be deeply missed by everyone she has touched along the way.Madelyn's wishes were to be cremated upon death and a memorial service will be held in Tampa, Florida on Sunday, November 20, 2016.She is survived by daughters, Wendy and Dominique, and granddaughter, Kaitlin; stepsons John Salemi and Edward Salemi and their families; by several cousins, including Ernest Lemoncelli of Eynon PA,and Ralph Trani of Pueblo who was always like a brother to her.
