Margaret Middlebrook, 84, passed away March 10, 2013 at Lakeshore Villas Health Care Nursing Home in Tampa, FL. A 65 year resident of Tampa, Florida, Margaret was born April 11, 1927 in Birmingham, England to parents, Ernest F. Nurrish & Ethel F. Nurrish. She came to America in 1948 to marry James W. Middlebrook of Tampa, FL whom she met during World War II while he was stationed in England. Margaret was only 15 years old when she met the young Army soldier, Jimmy, as she called him, and after he had to leave they wrote for four years until the war finally ended and she was able to come to America to join him. They were married on April 17, 1948 and were together for 57 years until his passing in December 2005. She is survived by her two children, Jeff C. Middlebrook and Jill C. Seagriff and her three grandchildren, Morgan S. Middlebrook, Parker L. Middlebrook and Meagan K. Corrado.

She was an amazing woman who endured much in her life but remained strong at heart and she will always be remembered in our hearts.

Private services were held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
