Marian Evelyn Wentz passed away Thursday November 19, 2020. Evelyn was born in Portland, Indiana to Charles Emory and Mary Etta Brown. She was in the band and graduated from Portland High School. After graduation, she attended a business college before marrying the love of her life, Levon Albert (Whitey) Wentz from Pennville Indiana.

Evelyn enjoyed being a stay at home mother as their children were growing up. Her favorite song to sing them (also her grandchildren and great grandchildren) was "You are my sunshine".She assisted with school work, projects, attended school activities, games, coached soft ball and was a Girl Scout leader.

Evelyn eventually went to work as a retail clerk at various department stores before retiring. She enjoyed her family and playing bingo.

Evelyn is survived by her loving husband, Levon and children Rebecca (Beckie) Wright, Marian (Suzie) Nay, Sharon (Shari) Dale, Carolyn (Deannie) Cain, William (Billy) Wentz and preceded in death by her son Charles (Charlie) Wentz.

She will also be missed by her 13 grandchildren, 14 1/2 great grandchildren, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, sisters, Marjorie Harris (deceased), Madonna Uleman, Carolyn Brown, Mary Rose Mann, and Rose Mary Brown (deceased), multiple cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.



Marian Evelyn Wentz was our sunshine and will be missed and forever loved!
