Martha J. Wood, 85, of Tampa, passed away July 12, 2023

She was a Hillsborough High School alumna and retired from Verizon Communications. She will be remembered as kindhearted, witty, and generous, and leaves behind a legacy of love.

She is predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Donald Wood, and is survived by children Sherry Wood and Joel Wood; sister Jodie Rubio; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at MacDonald Funeral Home on Friday, July 28th, at 11:30. The family will receive visitors an hour prior, from 10:30 to 11:30.

Martha will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell.
