Martin Cleary, age 62, of Tampa, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Aug 5, 2014, after complications derived from cancer treatment. Martin was born in Enniskillen Ireland on March 13, 1952. Martin retired as a Private Residences Concierge for The Beekman Group in NYC (Park Ave). He also worked in the Construction industry and was a previous Owner and Operator of a Nightclub establishment in Long Island, NY. He enjoyed traveling the world, historic architecture and experiencing new cultures. He held citizenships in 3 countries, Ireland, The United Kingdom and The United States. Martin is survived by devoted partner Wayne N Howard. Martin's brother Frank Cleary and his wife Anne; sister, Marie Stuart and husband John all from Northern Ireland, cherished nephews, John, Martin, and Francis Cleary. A host of other family and good friends from all around the world and last a very close and devoted friend Anthony Millet of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Martin was preceded in death by parents Martin and Mary Catherine Cleary and good friend Daryl Carter. A special thanks to the staff and team at Moffit Cancer Center. Their compassion and care towards Martin and partner Wayne was second to none. They were instrumental in helping him to enjoy his life and travels during his last days. The funeral service will be held at MacDonald Funeral Home at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 16, 2014. Mons. Desmond Daly will be officiating. Visitation and viewing will be held one hour prior. Celebration of life will immediately follow at Beef O'Bradys on N. Himes Ave.
