Mary Jane Freeman Hearn, 80, of Tampa entered into rest peacefully on April 20, 2014. Mary was born in 1934 in Green River, NC to the late William E. Freeman and Geneva Hart Freeman. Mary worked for Travelers Insurance for 22 years before retiring in 1992. She enjoyed collecting recipes, all kinds of puzzles and playing bridge at the Barksdale Senior Center. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be deeply missed. She is survived by 3 children Mary Jo Martin, Alan Hearn and Cindy Hearn; 2 grandchildren Kayla Hearn and Nicole Hearn. She is also survived by sister Barbara Hunnicutt of NC, brothers Don Freeman and Jack Freeman of NC and Charles Freeman of SC as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister Margaret Nicholson Denzel of TN. Services for the family will be held in NC.
