Mary F. Bloomfield Dunigan Gardner, passed away on 07/05/2020, at age 87, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. She was born in Springdale, Kentucky, lived in Maysville, Kentucky; Cincinnati, Ohio; and most recently resided in Tampa, Florida. Mary worked for Husman's Potato Chips for 16 years while in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she was fondly known as "George" by her coworkers. Once relocated to Tampa, Mary worked at Honeywell as well as various convenience stores around Tampa, including the 7/11 and Majik Market franchises. She enjoyed raising birds, dancing and watching old movies, but she most loved visiting the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to play the slot machines. Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Ann Cather; her sister, Thelma P. Futter; and her brother: Gordon Hook. Mary is survived by her Husband, Elton "Randy" Gardner; her brother: Donald "Jerry" Jones; her children: Laura 'Lorraine" Dunigan, Jacqueline M. Thibault, Karen Clark (Kenny), Paula Dunigan Bland and Robert Dunigan, Jr. (Terri); her step-children: Elton R. Gardner, Jr. (Kathy), Randy Gardner (Bobbie) and Vickie Reynolds (Dennis); and her grandchildren: Cheyenne Dishman (Barbie), Jeremiah Hyde, Roger Hyde (Lora), Jonathan Nunlist (Rhonda), Everett Nunlist (Kate), Angela Cannon, Clinton Hopper and Victoria Dunigan; as well as several nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. The family will inter Mary at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida, on 07/31/2020 at 9:30 a.m. Flowers are not permitted at the Florida National Cemetery, therefore, donations may be made in Mary's honor to one of the following: The Michael J. Fox Foundation (www.michaeljfox.org/donate) or the Animal Coalition of Tampa (https://actampa.org/about-us/).
