Mrs. Mary "Merge" Jhalia Eggers, 83 of Tampa, FL peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Friday March 10, 2017 due to natural causes.She was born in Pennington Gap, VA on October 18, 1933 the daughter of Fred Stewart & Evelyn Stewart Brummitt & step daughter of Frank Brummitt, who all preceded her in death.
On May 4, 1974, she married a wonderful Christian man, Francis Eggers, who survives.
She was gifted with artistic abilities & pursued a career with the City of Tampa as a draftsman until her retirement.Her hobbies included collecting dolls & crocheting beautiful blankets for family & friends.She lovingly prayed over each one!
Mary loved Jesus; her family & friends unconditionally & will be sorely missed by all.She enjoyed singing songs about her Savior & sharing family history.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in death by her beloved son, Richard W. Scott & grandson Marcus Tossona; her sisters; Shirley Lambert; Geneva Owens & a brother, Darrell Brummitt.
In addition to her beloved husband Francis, she is survived by six children: Curtis B. Fleenor (Cindy); Debra Wood; Morgan N. Fleenor (Edna); Sandra R. Dentmon (Terry); Earl Oaks (Robin) & Terry B. Scott.
Her grandchildren; Kelley Aljumaily; Tony Tossona; Shanna Acres; Christina Frey; Rebecca Fleenor; Amy Wood; Shawn Fleenor; CJ Curry & Christy Oaks.Also her siblings:Norma Parsons; Jimmy Brummitt & Janie Jackson.
She had many great grandchildren & several great-great grandchildren who were all dear to her.
Special thanks to Jenny for all of her loving care & Bob Dumis whom she loved like a son.

Friends are welcome from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, March 13, 2017 at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N. Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33612.
Burial services will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL.
