Mary Elizabeth Thomas, 96, of Tampa passed away April 28, 2015. She was born and raised in Maryville, TN and member of Riverhills Church of God. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Thomas, brothers, Jess Sands, Albertin Sands and Charles Sands; sisters, Peggy Thomas and Annamae Knight; grandson, Michael Sokoloski. She is survived by her son, Jimmy Thomas; daughter, Bonnie Sokoloski (Martin); sister-in-law, Mildred Sands; grandchildren, James Thomas, Mark Sokoloski, Marty Sokoloski and Terri Lynn Yeomans; several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Mary's Life will take place at 7:00 PM, Friday, May 1, 2015 at the chapel of MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N. Florida Ave, Tampa.
