Maryann V. Bruno, 74 of Tampa, FL, passed away on Sept. 9, 2017 surrounded by her loving family after her battle with cancer. She was born in Jersey City, moved to Kearny in 1973 where she owned Bruno's Deli. Then later worked at G&W for many years and then was an employee of Kearny Shop Rite for over 10 years before moving to Florida, where she then worked for the Pinellas & Hillsborough County School Boards, before retiring.

She enjoyed playing cards, going to bingo, trips to Atlantic City, bowling and going camping….and of course had a great love for Elvis (thank you, thank you very much).

She was preceded in death by her husband Neil Bruno Jr and her daughter Lisa Bruno.

She is survived by her loving family, children, Emilio Bruno, Mary Angel Bruno, Colleen Bruno (Eddie Coleman), Antonia Bruno, Denise Bruno (Nicky Alfieri). Her sister Carol Hussey and brother-in-law Robert Hussey. Her 10 grandchildren William Daisey, Lisa Daisey, Brian Starmer, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Nicholas Alfieri, Steven Starmer, Maureen Rodriguez, Christopher Coleman, Jennifer and Anthony Alfieri. 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephew.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 14th, at MacDonald Funeral Home, Tampa, from 6 pm – 8 pm. Additional viewing will take place on Sunday, September 17 at Mulligan Funeral Home in Harrison, New Jersey
