Matthew Wayne Morgan, 40, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away in September 2012. Matt came to the Tampa Bay area when he was 12 years old from Perry, Georgia. He graduated from East Bay High School, attended USF, and later became an aviation pilot, which had been a goal since childhood. He enjoyed golf, fishing, remodeling his home, and spending time with his family and friends. Matt was widely regarded by all who knew him as a caring individual who went out of his way to make others feel important and loved.Matt is survived by his parents, an older brother and sister, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, a nephew, and his beloved dog, Ernie.Matt's life will be celebrated on Sunday, October 28, 2012.For those who would like to attend are asked to contact the family for additional information.
