Melissa Mae (Dowhower) Patterson 56, of Tampa passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her sons, Michael S. Miller (Heather), Matthew J. Miller and Jason J. Duff (Meagan); mother Gloria Kreidler (Gary); sisters, Dianna Chambers (Jerry), Sharon Alderman (David), Patty Krauter (Darren)and Gloria Cookie Dowhower (Tim Abbott).She was the grandmother of Gavin, Chase, Emma Miller and Grayson Duff.She was loved by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and a great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her father John W. Dowhower.Melissa touched many lives through her very loving, generous and caring spirit. Her memory will forever be in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday evening, July 12, 2016 at 7pm at Tampa First Church of the Nazarene, 5902 N. Himes Ave. Tampa, FL. The family will receive friends beginning at 6:30pm.
