Mr. Mercedes Ortiz, 82, of Seffner, Florida passed away February 21, 2005 at Brandon Regional Hospital. He was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico and was a Maintenance Engineer. He is survived by his loving wife, Carmen Ortiz; sons, Ozzie Ortiz & wife Dana; and Ricardo Ortiz; daughter, Brenda Ortiz; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, 2/24/05 at Nativity Catholic Church, Brandon, Florida. Interment to follow at Limona Cemetery in Brandon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, 2/23/05 from 6-8 pm.
