Merle I. Rivera, 67, of Tampa passed away May 18, 2015. She was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and moved to Tampa in 2005 from Chicago, Illinois. Merle was a clerk for the Circuit Court of Cook County and a christian. She was an avid book reader and member of the Mystery Guild Book Club. Merle is survived by Giannina Damian and Marcos Damian: brother, Al Nunez (Iris); sister, Rita M. Nunez; Nieces, Meredith Nunez and Melissa Nunez; nephews, Alvin Nunez, Jr., Daniel Nunez, David Nunez and Henry Morales; very great niece, Angelina Damian; very great nephew, Lucas Damian. Funeral service will take place at 7:00 PM this evening, May 22nd, at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N. Florida Ave., Tampa. The family will receive friends prior from 5:30 til service time.
