Nancy Rohr Rosenkoetter passed away on March 12, 2022, at the age of 69. She was born to Colonel Loudin LaHugh and Virginia (Piggotte) Rohr in San Antonio, Texas on October 8, 1952. Her early days as a military child saw her living in Hawaii, Japan and France. As a teen she and her family moved to Daytona Beach where she graduated from Mainland High School in 1970. Nancy then studied Hospitality at Daytona Community College and embarked upon a career in the hotel and hotel association industry management that carried across Florida and Texas. Following her marriage to Don Rosenkoetter in 1986 she focused her love and attention on melding (and expanding) a blended family.
She is survived by her life partner Don Rosenkoetter of St Petersburg, FL,, her children Sara McBride of Geneva, IL, George Rosenkoetter of Leawood, KS, Blake (Hayden) Rosenkoetter of Ashford, AL and Zachary of Kansas City, MO, seven grandchildren, her brother Hugh (Aggie) Rohr of Charleston, SC, sister Debi (Ken) Johnston of Edgewater, FL, cousins Juli and Joe Piggotte who reside in the Daytona area well as a wealth of very dear friends that she dearly loved and who loved her just as much. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of her life is being planned for May in Daytona.
