Nelson AlexSwartwood, 84, of Tampa, passed away December 20, 2021.Nelson made his career in finances. Working as a young man with SterlingFinancial, and then with First National Bank of Tampa where he leadtheir loan department. He was with them as they converted to FirstFlorida Bank for over 25 years. He also devoted many more years with SuncoastCredit Union until his retirement. Nelson had a passion for hunting, fishingand camping. He was a devoted husband and father, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He waspreceded in death by his wife, Regina Swartwood, and his youngestdaughter, Linda Swartwood. He is survived by his oldest daughter, BrendaFurlong; son-in-law, Ralph Furlong; and four grandsons, Matthew, Jacob & JordanFurlong and Kenneth McKee; and many loving family members.

A celebration of life service will take place 6pm, Wednesday, December 29, atMacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N. Florida Ave, Tampa. The family will visit withfriends one hour prior to service. Condolences may be expressed online at macdonaldfuneral.com
