In the early morning on February 3, 2014 our beautiful sweet baby Noah came into this world. We could not imagine having such a wonderful blessing brought into our lives after being told we could have no more kids.
We watched him grow into a beautiful one-year-old. When Noah was 15 months old our world came crashing down with a diagnosis of leukemia. We thought it for many years going in and out of remission. Having two bone marrow transplants, countless rounds of chemotherapy ,heart failure, septic shock causing him to loose his feet and finally a stroke. Noah's little body could take no more. We could not ask anymore from our little warrior and told him it was OK to go.
Noah was stubborn, bossy, loving, sweet and funny but most of all he was the strongest person I will ever know and yet he was only five years old.
He fought this terrible Disease with strength and courage going through way more than any child should ever have to. Noah is truly our hero.
Noah loved our family and especially his older brother Jake or Bubba as he would call him. They spent every minute they could together trying to be normal kids. They loved watching videos together on their I pads and making pillow forts and cooking in Noah's kitchen. He loved the Tampa Bay lighting and watching hockey. He loved going to school and making friends. He loved working outside with daddy and cuddling with mommy. He loved to eat chips and Queso For every meal if you would let him. He would eat hot sauce and mustard on everything. He loved to go camping in his trailer and being with our friends. We called him NONO because he was always in trouble and we found ourselves always yelling Nono Noah don't do that and so his nickname was born. Normally an obituary would have all the life long accomplishments of a human being but in just 5 very short years our Noah accomplished more in life than we will ever understand. He gave us all hope and strength that no matter what you can carry on. I always tell the story of Noah who was being extremely irritating
one day when I turned to him and said "Noah, you are such a butthead and he turned and said No mommy I am a rainbow". He truly was our rainbow in this very dark world. Thank you to all that have shared, cried and prayed with us on this journey. We are truly blessed to have all of your love and support. We love all of you.
In lieu of flowers please send all donations to the Children's Caner Center in Tampa FL.
