Norma Marie Siplin, 68, of Key West, FL passed away December 30, 2011 in Miami Beach, Florida. In memory of a beautiful mother, when you left, a piece of our hearts went with you. Heaven gained a special angel the afternoon God took you home. You don't have to suffer anymore; you can rest now. Walk those streets of gold and soon, we will meet again. Norma Siplin was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Siplin. She is survived by her two daughters, Marguerite Pons, Melanie Castillo, and (husband) Michael Castillo; sister, Edna McDavid; two step children, Jeffrey Siplin, and Nellie Jackson; and eight grandchildren, Lorinda Castillo, Michael Castillo Jr., Reginald Leggon, Brittany Reed, Jeremy Castillo, Jolynn Pons, Gerrod Reed, and Anthony Allen. Norma has one great-granddaughter, N'ariah Pons, and one unborn great-granddaughter. You are truly going to be missed. We love you Mom. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7 pm at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 North Florida Avenue, Tampa. A funeral service to celebrate her life will take place 11 am Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery.
