Orchid Medero Glasgow, 85, of Tampa, passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 9, 2023. Orchid was born on January 27, 1938 to Armando and Odilia Medero.

Orchid's favorite job was in the accounting department of Royal Buick where she worked for many years and made lifelong friendships. When not working, she loved to dance to good music. She was a proud supporter of the Humane Society of Tampa Bay and enjoyed receiving thank you letters from CEO Sherry Silk. Because she and her husband, Joe, loved cruises, we envision them on a cruise ship in Heaven enjoying a tropical rum drink in the casino or poolside. Orchid is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Glasgow, and her brother, Armando (Manny) Medero. She is survived by her daughter, Yvette Boggs, son, Kenneth Suarez, brother, Julio Medero (Anne). She also leaves behind her loyal dog, Patterson, extended family and friends. The family would like to acknowledge the companionship of John Parrish, her roommate and "dog whisperer" to Patterson for the past several years and close confidante, Lorraine Fernandez.

A short funeral service will be held at Florida National Cemetery on April 5, 2023 at 1:30 pm, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Joe. Please join us to celebrate her life at La Teresita Restaurant on April 8, 2023, 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm.
