Pamela Luan (Geer) Thompson of New Port Richey, FL passed away on May 29, 2018 following a long and courageous battle with a debilitating disease.

Pamela was born in 1963 in Macomb, IL to Virgil L. Geer and Bonnie (Brown) (Geer) Hertig. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her grandmother, Marjorie (Bowers) Brown of Macomb, IL

Pamela is survived by her four sisters Debora (Geer) (Brian) Dickerson of Hamilton, IL, Angee (Geer) Hainline, also from Hamilton, IL, Jennifer (Geer) (Mike) Palmer of New Port Richey, FL, and Candace (Geer) (Tom) Leary, also from New Port Richey, FL. She also leaves behind nieces Ally and Lindsey; and a nephew Josh. She also has numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pam stayed in Macomb, IL through her school years.She graduated from Macomb High School in 1981, and later earned her Bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University. Pam spent time in California, Georgia, Indiana, and Ohio.She has spent the last 14 years in Florida. Pam was always outgoing and lived her life to the fullest.She was a loving sister, aunt, and daughter.Nicknamed #1 Aunt Pam, she spent her later years spoiling her nieces and nephew.Pam will be missed by all that came to know what a caring, giving, and loving person she was.



A visitation will take place Friday, June 1st from 5-8 pm at MacDonald Funeral Home in Tampa, FL.

The family will also meet with friends Tuesday June 5th from 4-7 pm at Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home in Macomb, Illinois. Services will take place 12 Noon Wednesday, June 6th at Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home in Macomb, IL.Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb Illinois.
