Mrs. Patricia A. (Dodson) Bales, aged 89, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024, in Tampa, FL. During her life, Patricia, enjoyed a short career as a private school administrator   in St. Louis, MO, then went on to work at Sears in Tampa, FL, selling tools to many. Patricia was so well- liked that she became known as "'The Hardware Lady.'". She was a devout Catholic, who had many hobbies including painting, reading, sewing, and woodworking. Patricia was a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother.  She is preceded by her husband Larry Bales; parents, Floyd and Mathilda (Kennedy) Dodson; siblings, Larry Dodson and David Dodson; and grandson Trevor Bales. She is survived by her sister; Rose (Dodson) Baldwin; children, Ronl (Sharon) Bales, Kevin (Sandy) Bales, Mark (Karen Mariani) Bales, Fawn (Dennis) Neun, and Maurna (Fred) Williams; grandchildren, Jacinda (Chris) Dunlap, Megan (Mark) Carr, Moira Cook, Ryan (Anya Yemelyanova) Cook, Miranda (Neal) Kaufman, and Freddy Williams; and great- grandchildren, Paytyn (Alicia) Wilson-Gutierrez, Carmyn (Jeremy) Schaaf, Christian Gust, Addison Kaufman, and Parker Kaufman.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, April 26th at MacDonald Funeral Home 10520 N. Florida Avenue, Tampa, FL 33612.
