Patricia Jean Parsons, 85, originally of West Liberty, Ohio passed to be with the Lord at 7:55 A.M. Sunday morning, September 6, 2009. Mother moved with husband and three daughters, Rebecca(Myron D.) Lile, Cyndia Lumley, Debora Corbett, andBarbra (Anthony W.)Mundi, and their children, Lianda, Bobby, Shelby, and Benjamin. Her legacy was her 4 Children, 9 grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren, 9 Great-great grandchildren and 1expected in April. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Parsons in 1987. They were members of the American Legion. She was a devoted mother and loved her family, only God came before them. She was a member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church and worked as their Homebound Lay Minister to those confined to nursing homes or their homes. She dedicated many hours comforting others and had great empathy, sympathy and compassion for those grieving due to their losses. She was employed as Clerk 2/Secretary at USF Bookstore. She primarily ordered textbooks for the English and Accounting Dept. for the staff.Mom will be forever missed, and is now our Guardian Angel. Memorial service will take place Friday, September11, 2009 at 7:00 PM at MacDonald Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
