SIMPSON, Philip, 80, of Tampa passed away Nov. 24, 2004. He was born in England, he served with and was a professional boxer for the Royal Air Force and traveled worldwide. He located to the U.S. in 1952 and worked for Shell Oil Co. in Illinois. In 1982, he moved to Tampa and worked for the Tampa Water Dept. He loved to grow roses and was a member of the Tampa Rose Society. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Jewell Simpson; two sisters and other relatives living in England. He is loved and will be missed by all his friends. No services will be held.
