Ralph E. Furlong, Jr., passed away Dec. 19, 2011. He was preceded by his son, Ralph David. He is survived by his wife, Brenda A. Furlong, daughters Carol Anne (Dusty), Gail Marie, Darlene Joy, Valerie May, Brenda Alice and sons Daniel Edward and Ralph Edward III. He served in the Merchant Marine during World War II and dedicated his skills as a Chief Inspector for the Panama Canal Commission until retirement. A Celebration of Life was held at his home and a funeral service with military honors will be held 11 AM, Friday, Jan. 6, 2012 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida
