With a heart full of sadness, we announce the passing away of our treasured brother, father, uncle, and son, and husband Raul Aday Benzon. Soon to turn 60 years old, he faced his final days with unwavering strength and he left peacefully on April 5 surrounded by beloved family members.

Raul was a man who led his life with few words but showed his tender kindness to those he loved through quiet actions. Underneath his undeniably tough exterior, he was a thoughtful, romantic, curious, and funny man whose smile will always be fondly remembered by his family and loved ones.
The memorial service will be a private ceremony with only close family members and friends present to be held in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
