Mr.Reavis O. Petty, 80, of Temple Terrace passed away Nov 27, 2009. He served with the U.S. Navy. Mr. Petty was a minister for the Church of Christ in Tennessee, Oklahoma, North Carolina and Florida. He served as an Elder for many years for Lutz Church of Christ and as a Minister, he retired in 1994. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Kate Petty; sons, Daniel Petty (Kathy), Bruce Petty (Vicky) and Robert Petty (Benita); brother, Mack Petty (Delores); eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A memorial service will take place at 3:00 P.M. Monday, Nov. 30th at the chapel of MacDonald Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends one hour prior. His final resting place will be in Dickson, Tenn. In lieu of flowers, send memorial contributions in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
