Rene, "R.C." Cejas, 54, of Tampa passed away November 15, 2004. He served with the United States Army during Viet Nam and received the Bronze Star Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Viet Nam Service Medal and the Staff Service Medal. He is survived by his family, son, Rene Cejas, Jr.; daughters, Tamara M. West and Alyssa Cejas; and three grandchildren, Jason & Kaitlyn Cejas and Kyle West. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, November 19, 2004 at the chapel of MacDonald Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Rene Cejas to the American Cancer Society.
