Obituary
Richard "Rick" Matthew Swalec, Jr.,58, departed this world far too soon on October 2, 2018. Besides working as an electrician throughout his entire career, Rick proudly served the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue as a fire medic and driver engineer, prying through wreckage, braving fires, and powering through seemingly impossible situations in the course of rescuing so many in their hour of need.
A Celebration of Rick's life will take place 2 pm Monday, Oct 22, 2018 at MacDonald Funeral Home.
