Robert L. "Bob" Chuites of Lutz, died peacefully on December 11, 2015 at the age of 89. Bob proudly served in the U.S. Merchant Marines and was a WWII Veteran. Bob was a retired fireman who loved people, football and sharing jokes. He was a Christian anda member of Idlewild Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Clara. Bob is survived by his son, Rudolph Chuites; daughter, Pam King (husband Stanley). He was a proud and loving grandfather, known as "Papa" to grandsons Scott Clark (wife Elma) and Matthew Clark. Funeral services with full military honors were held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Haley's Cove at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa.
