Robert Charles Bozak, 71, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 in Tampa, FL. He was predeceased by his father, Theodore, mother, Carmen and brother, Brian. He is survived by his loving wife, Marilynn; step-sons, KC (Courtney), Ray (Natalie) and Eric (Danielle); grandchildren, Trip, Trenton, Traye, Payton, Avery and Sylvie; sister, Carmen; nieces, Jennifer (Tim) and Meagan; nephew, Zachary; brothers-in-law, David , John (Jan) and Eric (Wendy); many other beloved family members and friends including his 4-legged companions who shared his life (Fro, Lucy, Charlie, Shelby and Whiskers). Born in Manhattan, NY, Robert lived in Elizabeth, NJ until the family moved to Miramar, FL in 1960. Robert attended the University of South Florida because "it was the only state school with air-conditioned dorms." He graduated in 1968 and made Tampa his home for the last 50 years. In the early 1970's, Robert taught vocational education at Blake and Plant high schools. Most of his career was in residential window sales working for Crown, Alcan, Harcar, NuAir and Carrollwood Windows. Robert had a deep fondness for the Horners and the entire NuAir family and always said it "felt like home." A special thank you to our family and friends for loving us through this Alzheimer's journey. We are especially grateful to Rob, Nancy and the staff at A Country Place ALF for the loving care and kindness they always showed Robert. And, to Season's Hospice for assisting him as he made his "peaceful passage." A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 4, at 2pm at Ray and Natalie's.
