Robert "Bob" M. Laird of Land O'Lakes, FL, born February 9, 1941, in Brandon, MS, was called to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 among loved ones at his home in Land O'Lakes.

Bob graduated from the University of Mississippi (c/o 1963) and was a retired Pasco County school teacher and administrator working at both Pine View Middle and Land O'Lakes High schools. Prior to that he had considerable experience in the financial marketing sector. He was a long-time member of Saint Mary's Episcopal Church of Dade City, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Clara Laird, his brother, Walter "Pete" Denton, and his sister, Denny Denton. Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Laird (nee Courbat), brother Henry Laird Jr, sons Robert Jr and Alexander Laird, and grandchildren Clara, Lucy, Stella, Agnes, Cormac, Courbat, and January Laird.

A memorial service celebrating Bob's life will be held at Saint Mary's Episcopal Church, 37637 Magnolia Avenue, Dade City, FL 11:00am on Wednesday, February 7th. Condolences can be sent to the family by signing the virtual guestbook below.
