Robert C. Seneca, Sr., age 73, of Tampa passed away on December 6, 2017 at the VA Hospital. He was born in1944 in Philadelphia, PA and was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Ferdinand Seneca and his mother, Rose Senecaand a brother, Fred Seneca. Robert graduated Spring Garden Institute, Philadelphia, PA with an Associate of Science in Chemical Technology. Robert served his country for 6 years with the United States Army achieving the rank of Captain. He workedin Sales most of his life mostly real estate & insurance. Robert lived in Philadelphia, New York, California and Florida. He loved horses, while in California worked on a ranch training quarter horses. Robert is survived by his son, Robert Seneca, Jr. (Jennifer); grandsons, Jaedon, Devon, Jackson; a sister, Caroline Saffri; nephews, Karl Saffri (Erin) andKurt Seneca (Kim); nieces, Karen MacDonald (Scott),Dianna Lott (Rick),Danielle Carr (Sam), Dana McKissick (Jim) andStaci Wilson (Howard); and20 great-nieces & nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, December 14th at Mary Help of Christians Parish. The family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass. Burial to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Thonotosassa, Florida.
