Roger A Turner, Sr., 70, of Brandon, Florida, passed away on May 27, 2020. He was born in Cornwall, NY, March 6, 1950. He was a kind soul that helped so many in his path and never asked for nothing in return. He was considered a Jack of all trades as he always took on Management/Caretaker type jobs. He was known to be good with his hands and was always up for a challenge. His passion for creation such as working on homes and cars was aspiring to many and his passion for creativity was passed down to his children as they are all artists in their own ways. He had the utmost love for his family and friends and was always willing to help. He was admired and loved by many.
His journey was never dull. In the midst, of being diagnosed with Alzheimer's/Dementia and Bipolar he remained calm, strong, and as kindhearted as ever. His positivity never diminished, however, in the end, it was COVID that his poor heart could not handle, and he lost the battle. His mind and heart can now be at peace and he can rest easy.
He was survived by 4 CHILDREN, Awilda Elswick, Georgiana Turner, Roger Turner Jr. and Thomas Davies, 9 GRANDCHILDREN, Christian Turner, Dylan Turner, Joshua Turner, Angelia Snowden, Cara-Mia Turner, Nicholas Teri Jr, Monique Elswick, Mariah Elswick, Dyllan Davies, and 2 Great Grandchildren, Nova Turner and Zoriah Turner.
Due to current circumstances, we will be holding a Celebration of Life for close family members and friends at a later date.
