Ronald P. Lupien, 85, of Tampa, passed away on April 22, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. Ron was born in Minneapolis, MN on September 14, 1936 to Fredric and Sadonia Lupien. He graduated from Plant High School in Tampa, FL and enlisted in the military where he served for 38 years in the Florida Army National Guard. After retiring from the military, he enjoyed building floats for the annual Gasparilla parades, traveling the country with his wife Audrey in their RV, and raising puppies for Canine Companions for Independence. Ron was an avid sports fan supporting Tampa Bay Buccaneers football, Tampa Bay Rays baseball, Georgia Tech football, and University of Georgia football.

Ron was a member of the Grand Lodge of F&A Masons of Florida, Palma Ceia Lodge, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church, the Friendship Sunday School Class, and the CRS Men's Group.

Ron is predeceased by his wife Audrey Lupien and survived by his sister Marilyn Blouin; son Grant Lupien (wife Terri); son Ronnie Lupien; daughter Yvette Ratzlaff (husband Steve); and grandchildren Rachael Tully, Morgan Tully, Derek Ratzlaff (wife Victoria), and Andrew Ratzlaff.
