Ronald Eugene Testerman 78, of Tampa was surrounded by family when he was called to his eternal home with the Lord on December 21, 2016. Born January 1, 1938 in Asheville, North Carolina, he had resided in Tampa for 36 years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen Jane Testerman, his mother and father, Glenn "Jack" and Mary Testerman. He is survived by his children, Patty Brooks of Tampa, Christy Gant and husband, Buddy of Tampa, Sherry Spurlock of Lakeland, Ronnie Testerman and wife, Michelle, of Lakeland and Jacki Burokas and husband, Justin of New Port Richey; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Romano of Tampa; and many nieces and nephews. He was a United States Coast Guard veteran and a faithful member of West Broad Street Baptist Church. He was a remarkable husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and loyal friend to many. He was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, December 29, 2016, at West Broad Street Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Lyle and Dr. Kevin Ahrens officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Tampa Port Ministries, 1409 Shoreline Avenue, Tampa, FL 33605
