Rosa Julia Perez Vega died unexpectedly on February 1, 2024 in Tampa, Florida at the age of 87.

Rosa was born on June 29,1936 in San Germán, Puerto Rico to Delfín Vega Toro and Carmen M. Martinez Sanchez. She had seven children with her marriage to Maximo Perez. Lived in Buffalo NY for many years was a seamstress and later divorced and moved to Tampa, Florida and made Tampa her home. Here she established herself within the catholic community devoting her life to serving all unconditionally. She departed this world as a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend leaving a profound impact on the hearts of those who came to know her. As we bid farewell to Rosa all who knew her will remember her as smart/kindhearted/loving/strong/caring/generous/thoughtful devoted person.

May she rest in peace and may her strong creative spirit forever echo in our hearts.

Rosa is predeceased by her son Jose Luis and her siblings, Armando, Maria Amparo, and Jose(Cheo) and Survived by her six children Rosa, Máximo, Edwin, Pedro, Maria and Josephine, sisters, Ana, Carmen, and Gloria, grandchildren, Miguel, Alexis, Noemi, Christian, Joseph, Maria Louisa, Sergio, Pedro, Wanda, Julia, Edwin, Gracey and great grandchildren Connor And Leylani.

The wake of our dear mother Rosa J. Perez what will be on Wednesday from 4pm - 7pm - 10520 N. Florida Avenue Tampa, FL 33612.

At 11:00 am on Thursday the Mass - Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 10110 N. Central Ave. Tampa, FL 33612

And burial for those who can attend.
