Rose Figga, 92, born in Tansboro, NJ on October 18,1922 passed away February 20, 2015. She was preceded in death by husband, Anthony "Pops" Figga. She loved working at the first base gate at Steinbrenner Stadium for the NY Yankees during spring training. She is survived by her children, Joseph, Tony, Rose Ann, and Thomas; 20 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM Wednesday at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N Florida Ave. Private entombment to follow. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at MacDonald Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the food pantry at Peace Baptist Church, 7601 Jackson Springs Rd, Tampa, FL 33615 or to LifePath Hospice in her memory.
