Rosemary Akers (Ross) 90 of Clearwater, Florida (previously of Tampa, Florida) passed away April 1, 2025. She was married to the love of her life Glenn for 62 years and sadly lost him to Alzheimer's in July of 2017.

Rosemary was 1 of 9 children born in Cleveland, Ohio to John and Thelma Ross. She attended Lincoln High School in Cleveland, Ohio, then in her early 20's worked for the Ohio Bell Telephone Company where they liked her voice so they had her record the weather, anyone could call in every half hour for updates.

Rosemary was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother and we will miss her dearly. Rosemary is survived by the following:
Beverly Ross (sister-in-law) , James Lazroff (brother-in-law); Son – Michael Akers, wife Tracee & son Kyle (Kayla); Daughter – Theresa Jones,  husband Tom & sons Andrew (Melissa), Adam (John) & daughter Brianna (Andrew); Daughter – Andrea Jordan, husband Douglas Jordan Four great grandchildren – Charlie, Siomara, Clark & Dorothea; And numerous Nieces and Nephews.

We would like to thank all the Doctors, Nurses, Aides & Therapists who took such good care of our mom over the past few years.

A visitation will be held at MacDonald Funeral Home on Thursday, April 10th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

A committal service will be held at Florida National Cemetery on Friday, April 11th, at 9:30am
