Rosemary Yanez (nee Bonhomme), 100, born in Chicago, Illinois, resident of Tampa since 1945, was peacefully called home on November 11th. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, Casimiro Yanez. Devoted Mother of Robert Yanez, Terry Yanez (Ken), Sharon Bihorel (Jean-Pierre), Denise Garcia (Frank) and James Yanez. Loving Grandmother of eight grandchildren, Shawn Bihorel, Bryan Bihorel, Andrea Osorio-Bihorel, Scott Bihorel, Matthew Garcia, Kristen Endrzejewski, Danielle Garcia and Christopher Yanez; eight great-grandchildren, Kara, Joshua and Olivia Bihorel, Zachary and Lucas Endrzejewski, Xavi and Paloma Osorio, Ophelia Bihorel, one great-great grandson, Sebastian Hay and many nieces and nephews. Rosemary was a devout Catholic who loved her church and family. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and upon retirement, they cruised the country in their motor home. She lived a long, beautiful life and is now reunited with her husband. She will be sorely missed.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Friday, November 17th at 10:30 A.M. Interment to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at MacDonald Funeral Home with a Catholic wake service beginning at 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations in her memory be sent to the Charity of your choice.
