Roy E. Gerould, 62, of Lumberton, New Jersey, formerly of Tampa, went home to Heaven to be with his dad, Eugene "Jerry", on March 28, 2009, after battling cancer. He graduated Robinson High School in 1965 and attended University of South Florida before joining the US Army. He was a Vietnam veteran and served in four tours with 101st Air Cavalry Division. Roy received numerous medals including the Bronze Star. He was a land surveyor in Tampa and relocated to New Jersey. He formed his own company called Roy E. Gerould, Professional Land Surveyor. His company was involved in many major projects including Philadelphia International Airport, The Philadelphia Phillies Stadium, Black Rock Fish Passage, and the Pavilion Tower at Cooper University Hospital. Roy is survived by his mother, Ida Gerould; sisters, Alma Spradley, Wanda Fain and Sandra Romero; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services with full military honors will take place at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
