Samuel Philip Clark, 67, of Lutz passed away May 8, 2015. Born and raised in Waycross, GA, he made Tampa his home after serving in the U.S. Marine Corp and the Vietnam War. He received an AA Degree in criminology from Hillsborough Community College and worked for the City of Tampa for 24 years where he retired in 2001 as a security and maintenance superintendent for the Parks Department. He is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia B. White; stepfather, William F. White; father, Paul Clark; and brother, Charles J. Clark. Samuel is survived by his wife, Roberta Bowmer and son, Michael of Lutz, FL; brother, Paul S. Clark (Karen) of Blairsville, GA; sisters, Lindy Sanchez (Gil) of Tampa, FL and Sally S. Priest (Ron) of Leesburg, FL; niece, Karen E. Knapp (Andrew) of Crown Point, IN; two great nephews; one great niece; three aunts; and numerous cousins. From a young boy to the day he died, he was a caregiver to all those he loved. He could cook, sew, clean house, build and repair most anything. There wasn't anything he couldn't do. He was one of a kind and will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him. Services will be held at a later date. Donations can be made in his memory to the American Heart Association.
