Sean O'Shea Smith, 39, Wesley Chapel, FL, died tragically on Tuesday, February 1st, 2011. Sean suffered a fatal fall from a tree stand while hunting in Pasco County. He was born December 18th, 1971 in Marshalltown, Iowa to Greg and Nuala Smith. The second of three children, he grew up very active in sports and excelled in football, wrestling, baseball, and recreational softball. Sean had many friends and no enemies. He studied Sports Medicine at the University of Iowa as well as Iowa State University. He married Angel Kraft in June of 2001, in Nashville, TN. Soon after they moved to Florida where Sean eagerly took a position with the FWC where Sean has served as an officer for over 9 years. Also excelling as an officer, he received an award for exceptional performance in 2007 and a letter of commendation in 2003. An avid outdoorsman, he was always in the woods, whether it was working, hunting, or fishing. Above all, Sean was a loving husband and father and enjoyed quality time with his family more than anything. He leaves behind his wife Angel, and two sons Eathon(6) and Aidan(3). He is also survived by his parents, Greg and Nuala Smith (Marshalltown, IA), brother Casey(wife Brenda, Urbandale, IA), sister Katie (husband Mike, Mingo, IA) and nieces and nephews O'Sheen, Ailish, Eamon, Grainne, and Quinlan Smith (all of Iowa). The Family wishes to thank the University Church of Christ in Tampa for all of their help and prayers. Services will be held 2 PM, Monday, February 7th at the University Church of Christ, 14314 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa. The family will receive friends prior from Noon until the service.
