Susan DePatie, 57, departed this world suddenly on November 26, 2021.She leaves behind her husband of 26 years, John DePatie Jr.;parents, Esther and Ron Whitley;sister, Stephanie Powell and her husband Cliff, sister Lori Cassady;brother, Jeff Whitley;3nephews, 2 nieces, 1 grand niece,1 grand nephew and countless close friends. She ispredeceased by her brother in law Jim Cassady.Although she had no children of her own, Susan loved her fur babies and left behind her dog,Roscoe and cat Jinxy. Having lived in the same neighborhood for more than 20 years, she andher husband helped to raise many children and are considered to be family by many who lovedthem dearly.She was a very thoughtful, honest and considerate person who warmly welcomed everyone intoher life but wouldn't hesitate to "council" those who went astray. Never short of a whittycomeback, Susan loved to laugh and brought much joy to those around her. Although she willnever leave our hearts, her presence will be missed by so many.Susan was employed by USAA for 26 years before leaving in 2014.

She and John contributed to the Metropolitan Ministries often and would like to have donationsmade in her name in lieu of flowers.
